The University of Kashmir has issued Counselling Notice-1 for admissions into various PG, UG, and Integrated programmes (OM/Reserved Categories) for Session-2024. Due to vacancies arising from non-completion of admission formalities or cancellations by selected candidates, counselling sessions have been scheduled for the available seats across Main Campus, Satellite Campuses, and affiliated PG and Law Colleges.

Eligibility and Process:
1. Only candidates listed in the General Merit lists, available on the official website, and those who have achieved the minimum required entrance test points are eligible for counselling.
2. Candidates who have already been selected and completed their admission process need not attend the counselling session.
3. Candidates will need to obtain and fill out the counselling form during the session.

Additional Provision:
Candidates whose results have been updated and who have appeared in the entrance test are also eligible to participate if their merit surpasses the listed cutoffs.

Srinagar, Sep 22 (KB): The Meteorological department has predicted hot and dry weather until September 25 across Jammu and Kashmir, with temperatures around 5°C above normal.

An MET official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that hot and dry weather is expected in Jammu and Kashmir until September 25. According to the latest synoptic analysis, temperatures will be 5°C above normal.

MET officials further said that “scattered to fairly widespread light rain and thunderstorms on September 26 and 27”. However, “dry weather will return from September 29 to October 5”. (KB)

Indian Bank has released the Indian Bank Apprentice Admit Card 2024. Candidates who will appear for the written examination for Apprentice posts can check the admit card and download it from the official website of Indian Bank at indianbank.in.

The call letter for the online examination will be available on the website till September 28, 2024.

The Apprentice post-written examination will be held on September 28, 2024. The exam will comprise 100 questions of 100 marks. The duration of the test is 1 hour.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

Earlier, in separate notifications KU has postponed exams scheduled on 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th & 30th Sep

Srinagar, 16 Sep (KB): Kashmir University on saturday postponed all university examinations scheduled on 1 October.

According to a notification issued by the Assistant controller of Exams at Kashmir University, a copy of which lies with news agency Kashmir Bulletin reads, In continuation to this office notice no: F (Notice Postponed Exam) Conduct/ KU/2024 dated 16-09-2024, all University examinations scheduled to be held on 01-10-2024 have also been postponed. Fresh date of examination shall be notified separately.

Notification further added, Fresh dates shall be issued separately.

It is important to mention that Kashmir University has earlier announced postponement of university exams scheduled on 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th & 30th September. (KB)
