The interviews will take place from 21st October 2024 to 29th October 2024 at the JKPSC Office, Solina, Srinagar.

KPDCL Announces Power Shutdown

Srinagar, Oct 17 (GNS): According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out branch cutting, the power supply to Hakbara, Army Camp, Manasbal, Chandergeer, Hajin, Preng, Banayari, Madwan, Shahgund, Sudunara and Mokdamyari areas shall remain affected on 19th October from 09 am to 03:00 pm.

Similarly, to carry out branch cutting, the power supply to Chahkoot, Chersoo and Panzgam areas shall remain affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 21st October, 2024.

Also, to carry out conductor stringing and GI installation, the power supply to e Ompora, Khanpora, Zoorigund, Mohanpora, Sheikhpora, SIDCO and NIFT areas shall remain affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 20th October, 2024.(GNS)

RRB Recruitment 2024: Application Correction Window Opens for 14,298 Technician Vacancies

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) opened the Application correction window for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 on October 17, 2024. Eligible candidates who have applied for the exam can modify their RRB Technician 2024 application form through the official website: rrbapply.gov.in.

The modification window for making corrections to the application will be open from October 17, 2024, to October 21, 2024. Candidates need to pay Rs 250 for each modification in the Application form.
Aspirants will be able to edit all fields in the Railway RRB Technician 2024 application form, except for the email ID and mobile number. The RRB will issue the city intimation slip for the technician exam ten days before the exam date, which will be available on the official website.
The Railway RRB Technician 2024 exam is set to occur from December 16 to December 26. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 14,298 vacancies for Grade 1 and Grade 3 technician positions in the railway department. The RRB Technician 2024 admit card is tentatively scheduled for release on December 12.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the posts should have educational qualifications through the Detailed Notification available here.

The candidates’ age limit should be between 18 and 25. The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC and ST and 3 years for OBC.

Those candidates who have undertaken any previous apprenticeship training as a part of the apprenticeship programme or who are undergoing any regular course of study as regular candidates from any educational institute are not eligible to apply.

Stipend

  • One year ITI: ₹7700/- per month

Selection Process

The concerned establishment shall select candidates in each trade separately. The establishment shall also scrutinize applications, verify documents, conduct medical examinations, etc.
