The Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting applications from unmarried men and women for Agniveer Musician posts. The recruitment rally will be held from July 3 to July 12, 2024, at 3 ASC C/O Air Force Station, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) and 7 ASC, No. 1 Cubbon Road, Bengaluru (Karnataka).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age: Candidates must be unmarried and born between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
  • Education: Passed Matriculation/10th or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any recognized school board.
  • Music Ability:
    • Proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch, and singing one complete song.
    • Ability to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notations (Staff notation/Tablature/Tonic Solfa/Hindustani/Carnatic etc.)
    • Must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments requiring tuning) and match unknown notes on vocal or instruments.
    • Proficiency in playing any one instrument from List A or List B below.
      • List A: Concert Flute/Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet in Eb/Bb, Saxophone in Eb/Bb, French Horn in F/Bb, Trumpet in Eb/C/Bb, Trombone in Bb/G, Baritone, Euphonium, Bass/Tuba in Eb/Bb
      • List B: Keyboard/Organ/Piano, Guitar (Acoustic/Lead/Bass), Violin, Viola, String Bass, Percussion/Drums (Acoustic/Electronic), All Indian Classical Instruments
    • It is desirable that the candidates have proficiency to play two instruments (one each from List A & B above).
  • Musical Experience Certificate:
    • Grade 5th or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute.
    • OR
    • Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani or Carnatic Classical Music from any recognized University.

CBSE 10th Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10 board exam results today, i.e. May 13. The results can be accessed through other digital platforms such as the DigiLocker website at digilocker.gov.in and the UMANG app, providing convenient alternatives for students to obtain their scores. Students can also check their scores on the official wesbite i.e. cbseresults.nic.in.

This academic year, the CBSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 15 to March 13, spanning over 26 countries globally. In comparison to previous years, the results for the 2022 exams were delayed until July 22, as the board adopted a two-term examination model due to the pandemic, with the first term held in November-December and the second in May-June.

In contrast, the timeline for this year’s exam results marks a return to a more traditional schedule, closely following last year’s pattern where the results were announced on May 12 for exams conducted from February 14 to March 21.

CBSE had released the schedule for marks verification, re-valuation, and scanned copies of answer sheets for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2024. As per the circular released by the CBSE, those students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for marks verification, re-valuation and scanned copies of answer sheets within a given schedule, and no request after the last date and in offline mode will be accepted by the Board as that would breach important examination safety protocol. As per the CBSE circular, a student can apply for marks verification from the fourth day after the declaration of the results. The facility will be available till the eighth day of the result’s declaration. This facility will be available for only five days.

Similarly, the re-evaluation of answer sheets will be available from the 24th day of the result declaration. This facility will also be available for just two days. At the end of the 25th day of the result declaration, the facility will cease to exist.

The board has informed that 1633730 students registered for this year’s Class 12 board exam, of whom 1621224 appeared and 1426420 have passed the exam.

The overall pass percentage in Class 12 is 87.98 per cent, which is an improvement from last year’s 87.33 per cent.

JKBOSE 12th Result 2024: Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is expected to release the JKBOSE 12th result 2024 in the first week of June 2024 on the official website- jkbose.nic.in, jkbose.nic.in/results. The results will be announced together for both soft and hard zones. Students can check the result by entering their roll number and registration number on the login page. Students can also check result of 12th class 2024 jkbose search by name on the login window. JKBOSE 12th exams 2024 were held in March for soft zone areas and in April for hard zone areas.

J&K Board released Maximum and Minimum Pass Marks for Higher Secondary Part-II Class 12th. According to the official notice, the percentage of passing marks is 33% in General English and 36% in each of the remaining four (04) elective subjects opted by the candidate. In a subject in which there is a practical examination, the percentage of marks required to be obtained by a candidate shall be 36% in theory and practicals, (Separately in the practical test and internal Assessment) and 36% in the aggregate of theory and practical.

  • Students can apply for re-evaluation from the official website of JKBOSE- jkbose.ac.in
  • Students who score less than 20% marks are not eligible to apply for re-evaluation
  • Application fee of Rs 390 per subject is to be submitted through challan.
