JKBOSE Instructions & Guidelines for Filling Online Examination Form Class 10th (SSE) & Class 12th (HSP-II) Annual (Private) / Bi-Annual 2026

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially issued detailed instructions and guidelines for filling the Online Examination Form for Class 10th (Secondary School Examination – SSE) and Class 12th (Higher Secondary Part-II – HSP-II) for Annual (Private) / Bi-Annual 2026 examinations. This notification is applicable to students of both Kashmir Division and Jammu Division, including summer zone and winter zone areas of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

This update is highly important for candidates appearing as private students, re-appear candidates, failure candidates, fresh private aspirants, and those applying under additional or optional subject categories. JKBOSE has clearly outlined the online submission process, fee structure, deadlines, and eligibility criteria to avoid confusion among students and institutions.

In this detailed article, we will explain every point of the official circular in simple language so that students, parents, schools, and institutions can understand the complete process without any difficulty.

Overview of JKBOSE Examination Form 2026

The online Permission-cum-Examination Form is mandatory for candidates who wish to appear in:

  • Class 10th SSE Annual Private / Bi-Annual 2026
  • Class 12th HSP-II Annual Private / Bi-Annual 2026

The process has been digitized by JKBOSE to ensure transparency, convenience, and timely submission of forms. Institutions must carefully follow the instructions provided by the Board.

Step-by-Step Process to Fill JKBOSE Online Examination Form 2026

JKBOSE has issued a structured 8-step process for schools and institutions to submit forms.

Step 1: Read the Official Notification

Before beginning the application process, candidates and institutions must carefully read the official notification available on the JKBOSE website homepage. The form can be accessed through the link titled:

“Online Examination Form for Class 10th / 12th — Annual (Private) / Bi-Annual 2026”

This ensures that students understand all rules before submission.

Step 2: Login Through Institution Account

The examination form cannot be filled directly by students. It must be processed through the school/institution account.

Schools need to log in to the JKBOSE portal using:

  • School ID
  • Password

These credentials are already provided to institutions.

Step 3: Open Examination Form Module

After logging in, the school dashboard will show:

  • Examination Form 10th
  • Examination Form 12th

Institutions should select the relevant class based on the candidate’s examination category.

Step 4: Enter Registration Number

The correct registration number of the student must be entered carefully. Any wrong entry can create problems in admit cards, records, or result declaration.

Step 5: Upload Photograph and Signature

After entering the registration number, schools must click the Search button to fetch candidate details.

Then upload:

  • Candidate Photograph
  • Candidate Signature

Required image size:

  • 10 KB to 50 KB

All details must be verified before final submission. JKBOSE has especially emphasized checking:

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Subjects selected

Step 6: Principal Approval

Once the form is submitted by the school clerk or office account, it automatically moves to the Principal Account for verification and approval.

This extra verification step ensures authenticity of records.

Step 7: Fee Payment Through Clerk Account Only

JKBOSE has clearly stated that examination fees can only be paid through the institution’s Clerk Account after principal approval.

Students are not allowed to pay fees directly.

This means candidates must remain in touch with their school administration.

Step 8: Generate and Submit Checklist

After completing the online process, institutions must:

  • Generate checklist from school account
  • Get it signed and stamped by Head of Institution
  • Submit it to concerned Examination Unit / Sub Office / Branch Office

Deadline:

  • Within 2 days positively after online submission.

Important Warning by JKBOSE

No Corrections After Fee Payment

JKBOSE has strictly warned that once examination fee is paid:

  • No correction will be allowed

ARTO Ganderbal Cracks Down on Unsafe School Transport, Issues Strict Directions

Private Vehicles Banned for Student Ferrying; AIS-063 Norms, Experienced Drivers Made Mandatory

Ganderbal, Apr 27 (KNC): The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Ganderbal has issued a strict notice to all school authorities in the district, directing immediate compliance with safety norms for transportation of school children and warning against the use of unauthorized private vehicles.

According to the notice, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner—KNC, it has been observed that several private vehicles, including vans and Maruti Eeco cars, are being used for ferrying students in violation of prescribed safety standards under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and AIS-063 guidelines for school buses.

The authorities expressed concern that such vehicles lack essential safety features like speed governors and are often involved in overloading and overspeeding, posing serious risks to the safety of children.

In view of rising road safety concerns, all schools have been directed to immediately discontinue the use of private vehicles and instead engage only those vehicles that meet AIS-063 safety standards. Schools have also been instructed to strictly follow safety guidelines issued by the Supreme Court of India regarding transportation of school children.

Further, it has been made mandatory that all school vehicle drivers must have a minimum of five years of driving experience along with a clean driving record without repeated traffic violations.

The ARTO has warned that strict action will be taken against violators and emphasized that ensuring the safety of school children remains a top priority. (KNC)
