NEET-PG Expected in Early July; National Exit Test Exemption for the Current Year, Reports Suggest

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG) examination for 2024 is anticipated to take place in the first week of July, with counselling expected to commence in the first week of August, as per informed sources. Notably, there will be no National Exit Test (NExT) conducted this year.

According to the recently-notified “Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023,” which supersede the 2018 Amendment Regulations, the NEET-PG will persist until the operationalization of the proposed NExT for PG admissions.

The IGNOU PhD entrance test for the July 2023 session and the IGNOU BSc Nursing and BEd entrance test for the January 2024 session will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at various exam centres across the country.

The Ph.D examination will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm, BSc Nursing from 10 am to 12.30 pm and B.Ed from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Srinagar, 7 Jan: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the syllabus for the written exam for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department.

In a notice dated 7 January 2024, JKSSB announced the detailed syllabus topics as per Annexure A. This is in continuation of the advertisement notification no. 02/2023 published on 8 December 2023.

India Post Driver Recruitment 2024 Application Form, 10th Pass Eligible

The objective-type written test will be of 120 marks for a duration of 120 minutes. It will evaluate candidates on numerical aptitude, reasoning skills, general awareness and subject knowledge.

The broad subjects include General Intelligence & Reasoning, General English & Comprehension, General Awareness, General Science & Computer Applications, Sports General Knowledge and Subject related to Social Welfare.

Some key areas of the syllabus are:

– General English: Reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary

JKBOSE Extension of Exam Form and Registration Return Submission for Classes 10, 11 and 12

Srinagar Jan 3 (KSA) – The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has announced an extension for students to submit online examination forms for the Annual Regular Examinations 2024 for Classes 10, 11 and 12. The extension also applies to submission of Renewal Registration Returns for Classes 11 and 12.

The Board stated that the extension is for students who could not previously submit their forms or returns, as well as for students who failed or had reappear status in the 2023 annual exams but were provisionally admitted to the next class and have now passed the requisite subjects in the bi-annual/private exam.

As per the notification, the last date for exam form submission without late fee is now January 15, 2024 for Class 10 and January 10, 2024 for Classes 11 and 12. Similarly, the deadline for registration return submission is January 10. Detailed fee structures and procedures have been outlined in the notification.

Provisional Answer Key Notice regarding Written Examination for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (Narcotics), Home Department.

Jammu, 7 January 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the provisional answer key for the written exam conducted for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (Narcotic) on 6 January 2024.

The exam was advertised vide notification no. 02/2022 under item no. 42. The provisional answer key for all 4 series – A, B, C and D has been made available on the official website www.jkssb.nic.in.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can submit objections/representations regarding the answer key along with supporting documents and a fee of Rs. 200 per question. Objections can be submitted offline at JKSSB offices in Jammu and Srinagar on 8-10 January 2024.

Objections submitted by candidates will be verified and the answer key will be revised accordingly if found correct. No individual information on acceptance/rejection of objections will be provided.

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill vacancies for the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (Narcotics) in the Home Department of the UT cadre. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for further updates.

JKSSB Releases Provisional Answer Key for Assistant Scientific Officer Exam

Srinagar, 7 January 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the provisional answer key for the written examination conducted for recruitment to the post of Assistant Scientific Officer (Chemistry and Toxicology) in the Home Department. The exam was held on 6th January 2024.

The provisional answer keys for all the four series – A, B, C and D have been uploaded on the official website of JKSSB – www.jkssb.nic.in. Candidates can match their responses with the answer keys to get an idea of their probable score.

The board has also invited objections against the provisional answer key. Candidates can submit representations along with supporting documents and a fee of Rs. 200 per question. The objections can be submitted offline at the JKSSB offices in Jammu and Srinagar from 8th to 10th January 2024. Objections submitted after the due date or in any other mode will not be accepted.

Based on the representations received, JKSSB will release the final answer key. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance or rejection of their objection. If the objection is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly for all candidates.

The recruitment drive by JKSSB aims to fill various positions advertised vide Notification No. 02 of 2022, including Assistant Scientific Officer. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the written exam and subsequent selection process.
