Cost of 19 kg LPG Cylinder Decreases Ahead of New Year

New Delhi, Dec 22: Commercial cooking gas (LPG) prices were on Friday cut by Rs 39.50 per 19-kg cylinder in line with softening international benchmarks.

However, the price of domestic LPG — used in household kitchens for cooking purposes — remained unchanged at Rs 903 per 14.2-kg cylinder.

Commercial LPG — used in various establishments such as hotels and restaurants — will now cost Rs 1,757 per 19-kg cylinder in the national capital as against Rs 1,796.50, oil firms said in a price notification.

State-owned oil firms last hiked the price of commercial LPG by Rs 21 on December 1.

Commercial LPG will now cost Rs 1,710 per 19-kg cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 1,868.50 in Kolkata, and Rs 1,929 in Chennai.

Petrol costs Rs 96.72 per litre in the national capital, and diesel comes for Rs 89.62 per litre.–(PTI)

Positions Available:

  • Special Education Teachers (SETs)
    • Kashmir Division: 34 positions
    • Jammu Division: 35 positions

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Limit: Not born before 01.01.1983 and not born after 01.01.2005 (Maximum age limit: 40 years)

Seasons first light snowfall are expected over some plains of Kashmir maximum chances over south Kashmir plains and light to moderate snowfall expected over higher reaches of South kmr and pir Panjal mountains range.

It’s main activity will be seen over higher reaches of South Kashmir while Sinthan top, peer ki gali & few other parts can receive 3-6 inches of fresh snowfall on tomorrow morning .

Light snowfall are also expected over Gulmarg, Sonamarg, & Doodhpatri .

Duration of this Wet spell: less than 24hrs , from today’11 p.m. till tomorrow 12 p.m. after that improvement in weather are expected.

Overall nothing major is expected during this period.

Online Submission Of Haj Application Forms (Haj – 2024) Extended Up to 15th January, 2024

Srinagar, December 21:(GNS) Government on Thursday said that all intending pilgrims are being informed through that the last date for submission of online Haj Application Forms for Haj – 2024 has been extended upto 15th January, 2024.

In a handout to GNS, the administration said that consequently, applicants possessing machine readable valid Indian International Passports issued on or before 15th January, 2024 and valid at least up to 31st January, 2025 are eligible to apply for Haj – 2024.

It is further informed that the Application can be submitted online only at the website of HCoI i.e., www.hajcommittee.gov.in or Android Mobile App “HAJ SUVIDHA ” available on Google Playstore.(GNS)
