Dated 28-07-2023 In pursuance of Notification No: 029-BOPEE of 2023 dated 18-05-2023 read with Notice No. 011-BOPEE of 2023 dated 15-06-2023, Online Application Forms were invited from the eligible applicants for admission to Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses-2023, in the Paramedical Institutions of the UT of J&K. It is hereby notified that the Board shall conduct the Common Entrance Test for the said Course tentatively on 20-08-2023 at Srinagar and Jammu centers respectively as per the choices filled by the aspiring candidates during filling/submission of their Application Forms.

IRCTC Recruitment 2023 for Finance Department

IRCTC Recruitment 2023: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) invites applications from retired Government servants who have retired from Finance Department of Government of India/State/ CPSEs for engagement on Re-engagement basis in Finance Department of IRCTC/EZ on temporary basis. As per the official notification of IRCTC recruitment 2023, the salary will be fixed as per the rules of IRCTC. According to the official notification of IRCTC recruitment 2023, there is only 01 vacancy at Zonal Office, Kolkata. The appointment is for a period of one year, which can be extended as per the requirements/performance of the retired employee and at the sole discretion of company i.e. IRCTC.

As per the official notification of IRCTC recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of interview. The date, time and venue of the interview will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates in due course. The maximum age limit of 65 years. On the date of issue of notification, the age of retired employee should not exceed 64 years of age. Selection Process: Through the process of calling of applications from the eligible retired
personnel for forming a panel against the above-mentioned posts on re-employment basis on the basis of interview, for which date and location will be intimated separately.

Those candidates suffering from COVID-19 or COVID-19 like symptoms will not be allowed for interview.

Medical Examination: The selected candidates will be issued offer of appointment as per requirement. They will have to undergo medical examination /health check-up and will be considered for re-employment only if they are found medically fit, in addition to fulfilling other criteria.

How to Apply:

(I) Retired employees from Govt. of India/CPSEs fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down above, should send duly filled in prescribed proforma enclosing therewith self-attested photocopies of the requisite documents i.e. PPO (as per 7th CPC), Service certificate, Last Pay slip, Aadhar card, etc..

(ii) The retired employees shall have to produce original Service Certificate, PPO and other documents for verification in original at the time of interview. The candidates will not be allowed for interview, if they don’t bring the documents on the date of interview. If any of the particulars stated by the retired Railway employee is found that he has wilfully suppressed any material
fact/information relevant to the consideration of his/her case without prejudice to any other action that may be taken in concurrence thereof his/her candidature will be summarily rejected and will not be interviewed.

(iii) In addition, the proof of identity and residence, last pay slip and two recent passport size photographs and documents as mentioned in the application Format and working experience on the proforma will be required.

(iv) Duly filled in application, along with documents, should be sent at following address to reach on or before 07.08.2023 :-

Srinagar, July 29 (GNS): More rains lashed Jammu and Kashmir even as weather department here on Saturday forecast “fairly widespread light to moderate” rain and thunderstorm during the next 24 hours.

A meteorological department official here told GNS that “isolated to scattered light rain/thunderstorm” was expected during subsequent two days in J&K.

Regarding the rainfall in last 24 hours till 8:30 a.m. today, he said, Srinagar recorded 11.7mm, Qazigund 1.2mm, Pahalgam 8.1mm, Kupwara 8.8mm, Kokernag 2.4mm, Gulmarg 7.2mm, Jammu 33.8mm, Banihal traces, Batote 1.1mm, Katra 19.6mm, and Bhaderwah 9.8mm.

1.1.1 Under-Graduate (UG) Programs are offered by the colleges affiliated to University of Jammu, University of Kashmir, constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu, Cluster University of Srinagar and three autonomous colleges namely Women College Parade Ground, Jammu, Govt. Degree College Baramulla and Islamia College Srinagar in various streams of studies under different faculties namely Arts, Applied Social Sciences & Humanities, Education, Interdisciplinary & Applied Sciences, Music, Commerce & Business Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences, etc.

Jammu and Kashmir CUET UG Admission Guidelines 2023

1.1.2 For the academic year 2023-24, admission to all UG Programs of Government Degree Colleges of UT of J&K will be done on the basis of Common University Entrance Test- Under-Graduate-2023 (CUET-UG– 2023) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and also 12th Class results (Non-CUET). The candidate may note that the role of NTA is limited to the conduct of CUET (UG) – 2023, declaration of results, and handling of queries related to the entrance examination.

Cluster University Srinagar Admission to UnderGraduate (UG) Programmes 2023-24

1.1.3 Simply appearing in CUET (UG) – 2023 will not be a sufficient condition to secure a seat in Government Degree Colleges, J&K. For admission to the Government Degree Colleges of J&K UG Programs, candidates have to apply on the portal : https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in. 1.2 Eligibility & Admission Process

1.2.1 Admissions to Government Degree Colleges of J&K for UG Programs are based on the eligibility requirements, criteria, and procedures specified in the University/ autonomous college specific U.G BoI-2023, which includes Common Minimum Eligibility criteria, Program-Specific Eligibility, reservation, and supernumerary quota criteria available on the University’s official website. Candidates who did not apply for CUET 2023 can apply in non-CUET category in the Late Entry Round of the admission for left over seats. For more information on Late Entry round/s please refer to section (Late Entry) of the document.

1.2.2 The eligibility criteria for every program offered at the UG level has been published in the UG Bulletin of Information-2023 (UG BoI-2023) available on the website of the Universities/Colleges.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully from UG BoI-2023 of Universities as well as Colleges and the Samarth Portal. There are no additional eligibility criteria besides the ones stipulated by the
University through its website, UG BoI- 2023. Before initiating the application process, the candidate is advised to read the contents of this document and UG BoI-2023 carefully.

1.2.3 It is mandatory for the candidate to apply and fill preferences online on the admission portal, i.e., Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS). Application submitted through any
other mode will not be accepted under any circumstances. Seat allocation to all UG
Programs will be based solely on the scores obtained in CUET (UG) – 2023. For Late entry
round merit obtained in 12th class will be considered.

1.2.4 The candidate must refer to the list of Programs, Program-Specific Eligibility Criteria, fee structure and other relevant information published on the website of the Universities /
colleges. Determination of eligibility and verification of documents for admission to
Government Degree Colleges of J&K, will be the sole purview of affiliating Universities of J&K. The merit lists published on the Admission website shall be adhered to by all Colleges of J&K.

1.3 Supernumerary Quota

1.3.1 For seat allocation in Supernumerary Quotas, a combined score of CUET (UG) – 2023 and supernumerary category score (in achievement category) will be considered (Depending upon Supernumerary quota devised/adopted by University/Autonomous College) . For the
information regarding supernumerary quota visit the Website of Information Brochure of the University/Autonomous College. Leftover supernumerary seat, if any , will be filled after Spot Round for Late Entrant on the basis of combined score of 12th merit and supernumerary category score (in achievement category). (Depending upon Supernumerary quota devised/adopted by University/Autonomous College)

1.4 Admission updates
1.4.1 Candidates are advised to check their dashboard, email, and admission website for all communications and updates related to admissions.

1.4.2 The candidate will be required to appear in person to verify the original documents as and when notified by the University/College.

1.4.3 In case of non-compliance with the requirements for admission, including non-submission of relevant documents and/or non-payment of Fee/s within the stipulated date and time, the candidate will lose his/her right to admission. If at any stage, documents submitted by the candidate relating to the admission are found to be fake/non-genuine and/or fabricated or in any other manner defective, the said candidate will not be given admission and if already admitted, admission will be canceled without any prior notice in this regard. If the same is found after completing the Program, his/her degree will be revoked and appropriate legal action will be taken against him/her. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to prove his/her eligibility for claiming reservation under any of the reserved categories, and will be required to upload the
certificates/documents of the respective reserved category/sub-category issued by the
Competent Issuing Authority. The University /College reserves the right to cancel the
admission of any candidate who violates the rules and regulations laid down by them. A
candidate’s participation in the admission process will be provisional. If at any stage, it is found that eligibility requirements are not fulfilled, the admission, if granted, shall be canceled ipso facto and appropriate legal action will be taken against such candidate.

1.4.4 Universities/ Government Degree Colleges of UT of J&K will not be responsible for a candidate’s lack of awareness of the admission guidelines, schedule, eligibility criteria, and rules defined in this document. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to keep checking the dashboard, email and admission website and websites of Universities as well as Government Degree Colleges of J&K regularly.
