TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 29-07-2023

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR

1. From 27-07-2023, 1700 hrs. to 28-07-2023, 1700 hrs. Jammu-Srinagar NHW remained blocked for 27 mins due to mudslide at Dalwas. Slow movement was observed on NH-44 due to breakdown of 07 HMVs and single stretch at Mehar, Cafeteria and Dalwas between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

2. *HMVs Operators/Owners are requested to desist from overloading. It is further requested that vehicle owners must double check the fitness of their vehicles before undertaking journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.*

3. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 29-07-2023:-

Subject to fair weather and better road conditions SANJY Convoy /LMVs Passenger/Private Cars shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.

*CUT OFF TIMINGS FOR LMVs/PASSENGER/PRIVATE CARs (other than Yatris/Tourists): -*

To be released from Nagrota (Jammu) from 0600 hrs. to 1200 hrs. from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs & from Qazigund 1130 hrs to 1400 hrs. 

TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will inform all concerned about the traffic advisory and cut off timings. No vehicle shall be allowed to move before and after cut off timings.

*HMVs/Load Carriers:-*

Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, HMVs shall be allowed from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) towards Jammu after assessing the road and traffic situation on NH-44 and *no HMV will be allowed after 1900 hrs.* TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs.

*Moreover, in view of Shri Amarnath Ji yatra 2023, to provide hassle free movement of trucks on NH-44, administration has decided all tankers of Pol, Diesel, LPG bulk gas, all empty LPG Cylinders carrying trucks; all empty vehicles of FCI; any other vehicle having upto 10-tyres shall adopt Mughal Road.*

SFs Convoy Movement:-

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of possible traffic congestion because of narrow carriage way between Nashree and Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and ongoing SANJY 2023. *Tomorrow they may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW from TCU Ramban. They shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs* .

SSG ROAD:

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road shall be allowed from both sides viz Srinagar towards Kargil and vice-versa. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar at 0730 hrs. to 1100 hrs. Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil at 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings.

SFs Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil, shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs. SFs Convoy plying from Drass to Srinagar shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Yatra convoys (both UP and DOWN) don’t get disturbed.

Mughal Road:-

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Mughal road shall be allowed from both sides viz. Poonch towards Shopian and vice versa. These vehicles shall be allowed from Behramgalla (Buffliaz) and Herpora (Shopian) at 0600 hrs. upto 1800 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut of timings

People are advised to undertake journey on NH-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-

Srinagar, Jul 28 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday clarified that regular uninterrupted Friday prayers are taking place at the historic Jamia Masjid every week.

In a tweet, Srinagar police, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that Friday prayers are going on smoothly in Jamia Masjid (today), contrary to some statements, regular uninterrupted Friday afternoon prayers do take place at Jamia Masjid on every Friday.

Earlier, some statements were made by some leaders that administration should allow Friday prayers at the historic Jamia Masjid—(KNO)

5. Pay and allowances:
a) The Bank shall pay a lump sum amount of ₹30,000/- (rupees thirty thousand only) per month inclusive of statutory deductions.

b) Tax deductions will be done as per Income Tax Act, considering the amendments from time to time.

c) Executives engaged in business activities may be paid incentives by Bank based on their performance.

d) Executives may be paid annual increment of their Lump sum pay as decided by the Bank from time to time.

e) Further, it is clarified that no other pay/allowances/bonus etc. shall be paid except those mentioned
above.

6. Job Location

a) All candidates shall submit their preferred location out of the various locations as furnished in Annexure-I, in the online application. Candidate can choose three locations of their preference in the online application. In addition to three preferential locations the candidate may also opt option of serving anywhere in India.

1.1.1 Under-Graduate (UG) Programs are offered by the colleges affiliated to University of Jammu, University of Kashmir, constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu, Cluster University of Srinagar and three autonomous colleges namely Women College Parade Ground, Jammu, Govt. Degree College Baramulla and Islamia College Srinagar in various streams of studies under different faculties namely Arts, Applied Social Sciences & Humanities, Education, Interdisciplinary & Applied Sciences, Music, Commerce & Business Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Sciences, Social Sciences, etc.

1.1.2 For the academic year 2023-24, admission to all UG Programs of Government Degree Colleges of UT of J&K will be done on the basis of Common University Entrance Test- Under-Graduate-2023 (CUET-UG– 2023) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and also 12th Class results (Non-CUET). The candidate may note that the role of NTA is limited to the conduct of CUET (UG) – 2023, declaration of results, and handling of queries related to the entrance examination.

Cluster University Srinagar Admission to UnderGraduate (UG) Programmes 2023-24

1.1.3 Simply appearing in CUET (UG) – 2023 will not be a sufficient condition to secure a seat in Government Degree Colleges, J&K. For admission to the Government Degree Colleges of J&K UG Programs, candidates have to apply on the portal : https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in. 1.2 Eligibility & Admission Process

1.2.1 Admissions to Government Degree Colleges of J&K for UG Programs are based on the eligibility requirements, criteria, and procedures specified in the University/ autonomous college specific U.G BoI-2023, which includes Common Minimum Eligibility criteria, Program-Specific Eligibility, reservation, and supernumerary quota criteria available on the University’s official website. Candidates who did not apply for CUET 2023 can apply in non-CUET category in the Late Entry Round of the admission for left over seats. For more information on Late Entry round/s please refer to section (Late Entry) of the document.

1.2.2 The eligibility criteria for every program offered at the UG level has been published in the UG Bulletin of Information-2023 (UG BoI-2023) available on the website of the Universities/Colleges.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully from UG BoI-2023 of Universities as well as Colleges and the Samarth Portal. There are no additional eligibility criteria besides the ones stipulated by the
University through its website, UG BoI- 2023. Before initiating the application process, the candidate is advised to read the contents of this document and UG BoI-2023 carefully.

1.2.3 It is mandatory for the candidate to apply and fill preferences online on the admission portal, i.e., Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS). Application submitted through any
other mode will not be accepted under any circumstances. Seat allocation to all UG
Programs will be based solely on the scores obtained in CUET (UG) – 2023. For Late entry
round merit obtained in 12th class will be considered.

1.2.4 The candidate must refer to the list of Programs, Program-Specific Eligibility Criteria, fee structure and other relevant information published on the website of the Universities /
colleges. Determination of eligibility and verification of documents for admission to
Government Degree Colleges of J&K, will be the sole purview of affiliating Universities of J&K. The merit lists published on the Admission website shall be adhered to by all Colleges of J&K.

1.3 Supernumerary Quota

1.3.1 For seat allocation in Supernumerary Quotas, a combined score of CUET (UG) – 2023 and supernumerary category score (in achievement category) will be considered (Depending upon Supernumerary quota devised/adopted by University/Autonomous College) . For the
information regarding supernumerary quota visit the Website of Information Brochure of the University/Autonomous College. Leftover supernumerary seat, if any , will be filled after Spot Round for Late Entrant on the basis of combined score of 12th merit and supernumerary category score (in achievement category). (Depending upon Supernumerary quota devised/adopted by University/Autonomous College)

1.4 Admission updates
1.4.1 Candidates are advised to check their dashboard, email, and admission website for all communications and updates related to admissions.

1.4.2 The candidate will be required to appear in person to verify the original documents as and when notified by the University/College.Jammu & Kashmir CUET UG Admission Guidelines 2023

1.4.3 In case of non-compliance with the requirements for admission, including non-submission of relevant documents and/or non-payment of Fee/s within the stipulated date and time, the candidate will lose his/her right to admission. If at any stage, documents submitted by the candidate relating to the admission are found to be fake/non-genuine and/or fabricated or in any other manner defective, the said candidate will not be given admission and if already admitted, admission will be canceled without any prior notice in this regard. If the same is found after completing the Program, his/her degree will be revoked and appropriate legal action will be taken against him/her. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to prove his/her eligibility for claiming reservation under any of the reserved categories, and will be required to upload the
certificates/documents of the respective reserved category/sub-category issued by the
Competent Issuing Authority. The University /College reserves the right to cancel the
admission of any candidate who violates the rules and regulations laid down by them. A
candidate’s participation in the admission process will be provisional. If at any stage, it is found that eligibility requirements are not fulfilled, the admission, if granted, shall be canceled ipso facto and appropriate legal action will be taken against such candidate.

1.4.4 Universities/ Government Degree Colleges of UT of J&K will not be responsible for a candidate’s lack of awareness of the admission guidelines, schedule, eligibility criteria, and rules defined in this document.
