JKBOSE Notifications Update: Key Announcements for 10th, 11th, and 12th Class Students
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released several important notifications for students. Below are the key updates:
1. Correction in Registered Particulars for 10th Class Exam (Annual Regular 2025)
JKBOSE has issued a notification allowing candidates appearing in the 10th Class Annual Regular 2025 exam to correct their registered details as per the records (RR). Students are advised to review their particulars and make necessary corrections.
2. Re-evaluation Notification for Class 11th (Annual Regular 2024)
The Board has opened re-evaluation for Class 11th students who appeared in the Annual Regular 2024 exam. Students seeking re-evaluation can refer to notification no. 90 HSP-I, dated 21st September 2024.
3. Result Notification for Class 12th (Soft Zone)
JKBOSE declared the result for Class 12th Annual Regular 2024 (Soft Zone) under notification no. 13/HSP-II, dated 9th September 2024. Students can check their results on the official website.
4. Pass Percentage Concession for Specially Abled Candidates
A circular has been issued regarding the admissible pass percentage concession for specially abled candidates in the 10th, 11th, and 12th Class Annual Private/Bi-Annual 2024 exams.

IGNOU July 2024 fresh admission registration deadline extended
IGNOU July 2024 Admission: The list of programmes provided online is available at the official website – iop.ignouonline.ac.in. Students can check the programmes and apply accordingly
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to apply for fresh admission against the July 2024 academic year. Students intending to apply in the July 2024 session in the online distance learning (ODL) and online programmes will now get another fortnight to register. The last date now is October 15. Earlier, the last date to register for the ODL and online programmes was September 30.
The open university has extended the application deadline for all online distance learning and online mode programmes except for the semester based and certificate programmes run by IGNOU. The list of programmes provided online is available at the official website – iop.ignouonline.ac.in. Students can check the programmes and apply accordingly.
A social media post of IGNOU said: “Extension of last date for July, 2024 Fresh Admission till 15th October, 2024 in respect of all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for July, 2024 session (except for Semester based & Certificate programmes).”

Step 2: Click on ‘Register Online’ tab followed by ‘Fresh Admissions’
Step 3: Click on the ‘New Registrations’ tab
Step 4: Fill in all the required registration details
Step 5: Set a ‘Username’ and ‘Password’

Step 7: With the login details received on the email ID and phone number, login using the same and fill in all the details required
Step 8: Select the programme to be studied
Step 9: Submit the IGNOU registration form
Eligible students can also apply for government scholarships on the national scholarship portal at – scholarships.gov.in after confirmation of admission
RRB Technician Recruitment: Candidates who did not apply during the previous window will get another chance to submit their forms up to October 16.
ITBP will recruit candidates for Constable posts. Eligible candidates can apply from September 2 onwards.
Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, ITBP has invited applications for Constable posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of ITBP at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. This recruitment drive will fill up 819 posts in the organization.
The registration process will start on September 2 and will end on October 1, 2024. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.
Candidates who want to apply for the posts should have matriculation or Class 10 pass certificate from a recognized Board. The age limit should be between 18 to 25 years of age.

The application fee is ₹100/-. Fee are exempted for female, ex-servicemen and candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe categories.

JKSSB Notifications: Document Verification, Results, and More
The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has recently issued several important notifications for candidates:
1. Document Verification of Additional Candidates JKSSB has released a notification regarding the document verification of additional candidates falling under the consideration zone for various posts. Candidates are advised to check the official notice for further instructions.
2. Edit Option for Constables (J&K Police) JKSSB has provided an edit option for online application forms for the post of Constables (J&K Police) under the Home Department, advertised in Notification No. 01 of 2024 (dated 16.07.2024). The edit window is available for posts under Item No. 01 to 06.
3. Patwari Post Results and Answer Key
The result/score-sheet of the written test for the post of Patwari, Revenue Department, has been released.
The final answer key for the Patwari exam, held on 01.09.2024, is also available for candidates to review.
4. Junior Assistant Post Results and Answer Key
The result/score-sheet for the Junior Assistant written test has been declared.
The final answer key for the Junior Assistant exam, conducted on 25.08.2024, is now accessible.
5. Final Deficiency Notice for Horticulture Technician Grade-IV JKSSB has issued a final deficiency notice to candidates for the post of Horticulture Technician Grade-IV (Notification No. 05 of 2021, dated 22.09.2021). The posts fall under Item No. 690 to 709.

SBI SCO Recruitment 2024: Apply Now for 58 Vacant Posts, Registration closes today
The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the deadline for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers. As many as 58 positions of SCO are vacant and the last date to apply for it is October 1. Interested users can visit the official website of the bank and apply for the post. However, they are expected to have the desired qualifications.

The vacancies include multiple posts including Deputy Vice President (IT-Architect), Deputy Vice President (platform owner), Assistant Vice-President (IT-Architect), Assistant Vice President (Security & Risk Management), and Senior Special Executive (Procurement Analyst).
Fee

Selection procedure and CTC
The candidates need to go through shortlisting phase followed by an interview. The shortlisting committee appointed by the bank will decide the criteria for shortlisting and the selected candidates will be called for interviews. The interview will be of 100 marks and the qualifying marks will be set by the bank. During the interview, the negotiation committee will discuss the CTC.
Important points to keep in mind
The applicants must possess the qualification and relevant full-time experience as on specified dates. The relevant experience certificate from employer must contain specifically that the candidate has experience in that related field as required. Training & Teaching experience will not be counted for eligibility in the experience criteria. Relaxation in upper age limit will be available to reserved category candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines (wherever applicable).

1. Hostel Accommodation for UG Students (Boys)

Monsoon Season Ends, Jammu and Kashmir Receives 26% Deficit Rainfall
This 26% is a huge figure.
Between June 01 & September 30, Jammu and Kashmir received just 408.5 mm of rainfall against the normal 549.1 mm.
Srinagar recorded a rainfall deficit of 30%.
Except Pulwama district which recorded a rainfall deficit of 13%, the other districts in south Kashmir received below normal rainfall in the range of -50 to -80%. Similar was the case in other districts of Kashmir Valley.
Baramulla was the only district in Kashmir to receive normal rainfall in the positive category (1% above normal)
Samba received above normal rainfall of 13% and was the best performing district. Jammu received exact normal rainfall as it should have.
Rest all districts in Jammu region received below normal rainfall in the range of -15 to -76%.
Meanwhile, Ladakh received surplus rainfall of 17%. Kargil with 8% surplus and Leh with 18%.
