CISF Constable Recruitment 2024: Registration Window Closes On September 30, Check Details

CISF Constable Recruitment 2024: Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100, along with applicable allowances as per Central Government norms.

CISF Constable Recruitment 2024: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced that the application window for the recruitment of Constables will close on September 30. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,130 posts. Interested candidates can apply through the official CISF website. Candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while those belonging to SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempt from fee payment.

Age Limit And Salary

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will include the Physical Standards Test (PST), Document Verification (DV), Computer-Based Test (CBT), and a Medical Examination. The written examination will be conducted in English and Hindi.

Verification of eligibility criteria will occur during the document verification stage, using original certificates and documents.

After the completion of the PET, PST, DV, written examination (OMR/CBT), and medical examination, merit lists will be drawn state- and category-wise based on candidates’ performances in the written examination. Vacancies will be filled according to availability in various States/UTs.

To register for the first time, candidates should:

  • Click on the “Login” button on the homepage.
  • Select the “New Registration” option on the new page displayed.

Written Examination Qualification Criteria

The minimum percentage of marks required to qualify for the written examination (OMR/CBT) is as follows:

  • UR/EWS/ESM: 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC: 33%

The written examination will comprise one objective-type paper with 100 questions, divided as follows:

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
  • General Knowledge and Awareness – 25 Questions (25 Marks)

Merit List: A merit list will be created based solely on interview scores, arranged in descending order. If multiple candidates achieve the same cut-off marks, they will be ranked according to their age, with older candidates receiving higher priority.

Assembly Elections-2024: Election office suspends 23 Govt employees for MCC violations

Makes seizure of worth Rs 130 crs, accords 7088 permissions to political parties, candidates

Jammu, Sep 29 (GNS): Taking cognizance of participation of government employees in election campaigning and related political activities, the J&K Election Office has suspended 23 officials besides disengaging six contractual/Adhoc employees for violating MCC guidelines.

Moreover, 20 employees have also been shifted from their incumbent offices to offices in other tehsils/districts against whom there where complaints of acting in partisan way.

The election office has further informed that a total of Rs 130 crore seizures have been made by different enforcement agencies in J&K during ongoing assembly elections 2024 till now.

The Police Department has made highest seizure of Rs 107.50 crore followed by CGST with Rs 9.88 crore, SGST/CT with Rs 8.03 crore, NCB with Rs 2.06 crore, Income tax department with Rs 87 lakh and State Excise Department with Ra 50 lakh respectively.

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), P K Pole, while elaborating details in this regard, stated that about 7088 permissions have been given to different political parties and candidates regarding rallies, processions, opening of party offices, vehicles, display of banners, flags, pamphlets, hoardings, street corner meetings, door to door canvassing, helicopters and helipads, video vans, vehicle permissions for star campaigners, party office bearers and vehicle permission within ACs.

Out of total 1263 MCC violations reported till date, 600 stand closed after enquiring and taking appropriate action while 364 are under investigation which too will be disposed off soon besides notices stand issued to 115 candidates/political parties/media houses and others for reported MCC violations.

Taking a stern action on carrying drugs, cash and liquor illegally, the concerned enforcement agencies have registered 32 FIRs, the CEO informed.(GNS)

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued an important notice regarding corrections in the registration particulars of students from Class 9th (Session 2023-25) who are set to appear for the Class 10th examination in the annual session of 2025. The corrections will be accepted from September 30, 2024, to October 9, 2024.

Key Details:

Correction Fee: ₹500 per candidate.

Mode of Submission: Offline submission at the Divisional office and the concerned Sub/Branch office, as per the checklist provided in Annexure-A.

RRB Technician Recruitment: Application Window Reopens on Oct 2 for All Candidates

RRB Technician Recruitment: RRBs have issued a notification containing important instructions for both new and existing candidates.

RRB Technician Recruitment: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced that the application window for Technician vacancies will reopen on October 2 and close on October 16, 2024. During this window, fresh candidates will be allowed to apply for the examination and existing candidates will be able to modify their choices and make some changes to their application forms.

Before re-opening the application window, RRBs have issued a notification on their official websites which contains important instructions for both new and existing candidates. Here are some important points to remember-

  1. The candidates who have applied to any one of or more categories and paid the requisite fees will be treated as existing candidates. They can avail the window without paying any additional fee. These candidates can apply for the existing or newly added categories and modify the previously selected categories.
  2. Existing candidates will only have the option to edit educational qualifications, re-upload photographs and signatures and changing RRB and post preferences.
  3. The existing candidates are not required to submit fresh applications.
  4. New candidates are those who submitted their applications previously but did not pay the fee, those who have applied and paid the fee for the category 1 (Technician Grade 1 Signal) post but did not apply for Technician Grade 3 post. Candidates who have applied for other recruitment drives conducted by the RRBs this year other than the one for Technician under CEN 02/2024 and those who have not applied for any recruitment drive conducted by the RRBs this year are also treated as new candidates.
  5. During the re-opened application window, new candidates can apply for Technician posts under categories 2 to 40.

Candidates will get a window from October 17 to 21 to edit their application forms on the payment of 250 per modification. New candidates can edit their forms as per the conditions laid down on the employment notification. Existing candidates will have limited access during the edit window – educational qualification, zone and post preferences, photo and signature.
