IGNOU Admission 2024: Registration Deadline Extended to July 15 for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programs

Eligible students can apply for Government of India Scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal after confirmation of admission at scholarships.gov.in.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the July session registration dates for admission to online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes. The IGNOU July session admission 2024 registration link for ODL and online courses is available on the official website- ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates can apply for IGNOU July session admission for enrolling in online and ODL courses till July 15.

IGNOU’s official post on X reads, ‘The last date of Admission to all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for the July 2024 session has been extended till 15th July 2024.’

The documents required to upload while filling out the application form are scanned photograph and signature, scanned copy of relevant educational qualification certificate, experience certificate (if any) and copy of category certificate (if candidates belong to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Caste categories)

The ODL programmes offered by IGNOU are Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Science (PGDSSOL), Post Graduate Diploma Development Communication (PGDDCOL), Post Graduate Diploma Digital Media (PGDIDMOL), Post Graduate Diploma Environmental And Occupational Health (PGDEOHOL), Post Graduate Diploma Journalism and Mass Communication (PGJMCOL).

  • First of all go to the official website, ignou.ac.in.
  • Click on the “July Admission 2024” link available on the homepage.

NTA announces retest result, revised rank list for NEET-UG

The National Testing Agency (NTA) today (July 1) released the result for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 retest which was held for 1563 candidates. The students who appeared for the retest can now check their scores at the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.

NTA had conducted a retest for selected 1563 candidates, who were initially awarded grace marks after they had claimed they suffered loss of exam time. In this exam, as many as 813 of the 1,563 candidates had appeared for the retest, officials said. While the retest was conducted in the same six cities, but different centres.

Out of the 813 candidates, none have managed to score 720/720, taking down the toppers tally from 67 to 61, as per NTA sources. Five out of the six candidates who had earlier received a perfect score of 720/720 appeared for the retest on June 23. However, they repeated high scores upwards of 680

The National Testing Agency announced the revised rank list for the medical entrance exam NEET-UG on Monday, officials said.

The revised result was announced after a retest was conducted for candidates who were earlier awarded grace marks to compensate for loss of time as the exam on May 5 started late at six centres.

For the retest conducted at seven centres on June 23 following a Supreme Court order, 48 per cent of the 1,563 candidates did not appear.

National Testing Agency (NTA) officials reported that 813 of the 1,563 candidates appeared for the retest while the others opted for the marks without the grace.

JKBOSE 11th Result 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to release the JKBOSE 11th Result 2024 in the 1st week of July 2024, following the completion of the answer sheets revaluation process. Over 80,000 students from Class 11 in JK’s hard and soft zone areas are eagerly awaiting their Part 1 annual exam results. The JK Board 11th result 2024 gazette will be accessible on the official website at jkbose.nic.in. Once the results are published, students can check their marks using their roll number and registration number and print their online mark sheets. Director School Education Kashmir in an order said that the approval was conveyed by the competent authority.

“Consequent upon the approval conveyed by the competent authority, it is hereby ordered that all the Government, Private recognised schools upto higher secondary level functioning in the Kashmir Division shall observe summer vacation w.e.f 8th July 2024, to 17th July 2024,” reads the order, a copy of which lies with GNS. Srinagar, 30 Jun (DSN): The government is set to announce summer vacations from July 8th for schools across the Kashmir Valley, a senior official said.

“Ten days of summer vacation for schools will start from July 8th,” Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, School Education, told Daily Spark News.

“Vacations will start from July 8th as the MET department has predicted rainfall until the 7th July,” Kumar said.
