Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria vary according to the courses offered and the college.
Shri Pratap College:
Sri Pratap College is also known as SP College. It is a professional institute in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir. The college is considered the oldest higher education institute located in Jammu and Kashmir.
Biochemistry – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Biology, Bio-Chemistry, or Chemistry as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Botany – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Biology as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Chemistry – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Chemistry as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Environmental Science – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Medical Science or Earth Science as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Geography – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Science or Arts (including Geography) as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Information Technology – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Mathematics as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Physics – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Physics as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Zoology – One needs to get 45% aggregate in their 10+2 boards with Science with Biology as a subject and it’s 40% aggregate for applicants with reservation.
Amar Singh College:
Amar Singh College is situated in Srinagar, Kashmir. Amar Singh College is considered as the second oldest college in the Kashmir Valley after Sri Pratap College.
