According to the official document, the answer key includes:

  • All 120 questions
  • Divided across Physics (1–40), Chemistry (41–80), and Biology (81–120)
  • Separate answers for Series A, B, C, and D

For example:

  • In Physics (Question 1):
    • Series A: B
    • Series B: D
    • Series C: B
    • Series D: A

The detailed answer key spans multiple pages and includes all correct options for each series.

Importance of the Answer Key

The release of the answer key serves several important purposes:

1. Performance Evaluation

2. Transparency

Publishing the answer key ensures fairness and transparency in the examination process.

If candidates find discrepancies, they may be allowed to raise objections within a specified timeframe (subject to official notification).

How to Calculate Your Score

To estimate your marks:

  1. Match your answers with the official answer key.
  2. Count the number of correct responses.
  3. Apply the marking scheme (if applicable):
    • Typically, +1 mark for each correct answer
    • Negative marking (if any) should also be considered.

This gives you a rough idea of your performance and chances of selection.

Subject-wise Analysis

Physics (Questions 1–40)

Physics section included conceptual and numerical-based questions from topics like mechanics, electricity, optics, and modern physics. As per the answer key, several questions had consistent correct options across different series, indicating moderate difficulty.

Srinagar: Amid scenes of faith, emotion and hope, the first batch of Haj pilgrims from Kashmir Valley departed for Saudi Arabia on Saturday, marking the beginning of the sacred journey.

Hundreds of family members gathered since early morning at Haj House, Bemina, here to bid farewell to their loved ones. The premises witnessed touching moments as relatives embraced departing pilgrims, offered prayers and wiped away tears before the journey began.

Children waved goodbye to elders, women stood in prayerful silence, while elderly pilgrims recited verses, holding prayer beads and travel documents close to their hearts.

The emotional send-off reflected the deep spiritual significance of Haj for Kashmiri families.

“It feels like Allah has invited us to His house. We waited many years for this moment,” an elderly pilgrim told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), before entering the Haj House.

Another family member said the tears were mixed with happiness, calling the pilgrimage a blessing for the entire family.

Officials said three flights carrying a total of 431 pilgrims departed from Srinagar on the first day, including 230 men and 201 women.

Budgam Man Convicted in Srinagar for Driving Without Licence, Gets 3 Months Jail & Rs 5,000 Fine

Srinagar: A Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Court in Srinagar has convicted a Budgam resident for driving without a valid licence.

The Court of Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic), Kashmir presided over by Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Shabir Ahmad Malik, according to news agency Kashmir Dot Com, has convicted a motor vehicle violator for driving without a valid licence, sentencing him to three months’ simple imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 5,000 under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

The challan was taken up for hearing in the presence of the violator and his counsel, while Assistant Public Prosecutor Ms. Chasfeeda Shafi represented the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

Upon perusal of the challan, the Court noted that the violator had been booked under Sections 3/181 of the Act for driving a vehicle bearing registration number JK04K-6597 without holding a valid driving licence. During the proceedings, the statement of the violator was recorded, wherein he pleaded guilty to the offence.

Taking into account the admission of guilt and the nature of the violation, the Court observed that the accused chose not to avail the opportunity to contest the case despite being granted sufficient opportunity. Consequently, the Court proceeded to convict him without a full trial.

The Court reiterated that Section 3 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 mandates that no person shall drive a motor vehicle in any public place unless he holds a valid and effective driving licence. Further, Section 181 prescribes punishment for driving in contravention of this requirement, which may include imprisonment of up to three months, a fine of Rs. 5,000, or both.

Observing that no further trial was necessary in view of the voluntary plea of guilt, the Court convicted the violator under Section 181 and awarded a sentence of three months’ simple imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 5,000.

The order stated that, “keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the violator is accordingly convicted for the commission of offence under Section 181 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and sentenced to simple imprisonment for three months and a fine of Rs. 5,000.” (KDC)
