TA Army Bharti 2024 Selection Process

The selection of candidates for Soldier (General Duty), Soldier (Clerk), and Soldier Tradesmen will be based on Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ / Medical Examination, Trade Test (as per post requirement), Written Exam and Document Verification. The final merit list of candidates will be based on total marks scored by candidates in the written exam and Physical Efficiency Test.

Physical Standard Test

Candidates should fullfill the required physical standard test in terms of i.e. Height, Chest, and Weight measurements. The candidates who do not fulfill the laid down physical standard will be eliminated. The candidate’s Weight should be Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.

Physical Eligibility Test

The Territorial Army Bharti Physical Eligibility Test will be held for a total of 100 marks. The PET will be done through their performances as per the following parameters.

• Soldier Clerk – Information Technology/ Computer Proficiency test (the candidates will be tested on awareness of office use software, typing, basic hardware knowledge, etc as required of a Clk in a unit).
• Tradesmen – Efficiency in their respective trade

Territorial Army Exam Pattern 2024

All those candidates who qualify for the territorial physical and medical examination will be called to appear for the written exam. Knowing the Territorial Army Exam Pattern 2024 is essential for candidates to know the types of questions, total no. of marks and other details.

• The Territorial Army written exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
• The level of the exam will be matriculating/ eighth class standard.
• The time duration of the exam is 02 hours.
• The question paper will be set in bilingual English & Hindi.
•  There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
• The candidates have to score min 32 marks for Soldier (General Duty) & Soldier Tradesmen and 40 marks for Soldier Clerks respectively to pass the exam.
