JKSSB Deputy Inspector Admit Card 2024 Download link @jkssb.nic.in

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a notice regarding the admit cards for the OMR based written examination for the post of Deputy Inspector/Equivalent, Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Division Cadre.

The examination is scheduled to be held on March 3, 2024. The admit cards will be available for download on the JKSSB’s official website https://jkssb.nic.in/ from February 26, 2024 to March 3, 2024.

Candidates can download their admit cards by using their registered email ID and date of birth.

In case of any difficulty in downloading the admit cards, candidates can contact the JKSSB Helpdesk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu)/0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or write to JKSSB at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com.

J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Conducts 2nd/Mop-Up Round of Counselling for BPT Course

The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has conducted the 2nd/Mop-Up round of counselling for eligible candidates for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course in Composite Regional Centre, Bemina, Srinagar and Jammu College of Physiotherapy, Jammu.

The list of provisionally selected candidates who participated in the counselling and have been allotted seats in the Colleges/Courses on the basis of merit-cum-preferences has been published on the official website of the Board https://www.jkbopee.gov.in/.

The selected candidates are advised to report to their respective allotted College/Institution up to 02nd of March, 2024 (till 04:00 PM) along with the following original documents for verification:

MeT forecasts ‘scattered to fairly widespread’ light rains, snow in J&K

Night Temp Records Fall At Most Places In Kashmir, Minus 2.0 In Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 26(GNS): Weather department here has forecast light rain and snow at “scattered to fairly widespread” places in Jammu and Kashmir from Monday night to forenoon of Tuesday.

A meteorological department official here said that on February 28-29, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected with possibility of light rain and snow at isolated places.

From March 1-3, he said, there is possibility of light to moderate rain and snow at most places with heavy rain and snow at few middle and higher reaches during March 2 and 3.

“Few places may experience thunder/lightning/hailstorm accompanied by gusty winds during the period.”
Meanwhile night temperature recorded a fall at few places and slight rise at a few with Srinagar recording a minimum of minus 2.0°C against previous night’s 0.5°C. It was below normal by 2.0°C for the summer capital of J&K for this time of the year, the MeT official told GNS.

Qazigund recorded a minimum of minus 2.2°C against minus 1.6°C on the previous night and it was 2.6°C below normal for the gateway town of Kashmir, he said.

Pahalgam recorded a low of minus 7.0°C against minus 6.0°C on the previous night and it was 3.5°C below normal for the famous resort in south Kashmir.
Kokernag, also in south Kashmir, recorded a minimum of minus 2.8°C against minus 3.8°C on the previous night and the temperature was below normal by 2.9°C for the place, the official said.
Kupwara town recorded a low of minus 3.5°C against minus 3.0°C on the previous night and it was 3.5°C below normal there, the official said.

Gulmarg recorded a low of minus 9.0°C against minus 10.0°C on the previous night. The temperature was below normal by 3.2°C for the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir.
Jammu, he said, recorded a minimum of 7.9°C and it was below normal by 3.7°C for the winter capital of J&K.

Banihal recorded a low of 1.8°C, Batote 2.1°C and Bhaderwah minus 0.44°C, he said.

While ‘Chillai-Kalan’, the 40-day harsh period of winter ended on January 29 and 20-day-long winter period called ‘Chillai-Khurd’ ended on February 19, Kashmir is the middle 10-day-long period ‘Chillai-Bachha’ (baby cold) which culminates on March 1. (GNS)

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR

1. From 24-02-2024, 1700 hrs. to 25-02-2024, 1700 hrs. there was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to breakdown of HMVs, single lane traffic at Dalwas, Mehad-Cafeteria, Gangroo, Hingni etc. and poor surface condition of road at many places between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

2. Passengers/LMVs operators are advised to prefer journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW during day time. Please avoid journey during night hours as apprehension of shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.

3. HMVs Operators/Owners are requested to desist from overloading and carry sufficient fuel during journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. It is further requested that vehicle owners must double check the fitness of their vehicles and carry sufficient fuel before undertaking journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.

4. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 26-02-2024:-

In view of single lane and poor surface of the road at Dalwas, Mehad- Cafeteria, Gangroo, Hingni etc., Management has decided tomorrow only one way traffic shall be allowed on Jammu Srinagar NHW (NH-44) till the road get double lane.

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one way traffic from Srinagar towards Jammu shall be allowed on Jammu-Srinagar NHW-(NH- 44). LMVs shall be allowed from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) from 0600 hrs to 1300 hrs., thereafter HMVs shall be allowed upto 1800 No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing

SFs Convoy Movement:-

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan

in view of possible traffic congestion because of narrow carriage way

between Nashree and Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. Tomorrow they

may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW

from TCU Ramban.
