Provisional Selection List for the posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) Public Works (R&B) Department, UT Cadre advertised under Item No. 202, vide Notification No.06 of 2022 dated.11.11.2022.
Whereas, the Public Works (R&B) Department, vide their Indent No.. PWD-Adm/122/2021-(Comp.No.118431) dated 06.04.2022, referred 190 Posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) to the J&K Services Selection Board, which were put to advertisement vide Notification No.06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022, as per the following category-wise break up:

Whereas, the requisite qualification for selection against these posts, as per the Indent, is given as under
3 years diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government recognized institute/Indian university degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) INDIA.
Note: Indian University degree/ 3 years diploma from Government recognized institute in aeronautical/ automobile production engineering shall be considered as equivalent to degree diploma in Mechanical Engineering respectively”.
Whereas, the JKSSB, accordingly, conducted Written Examination for these posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical), UT Cadre on 01.10.2023. Based on the performance of the candidates in X, the Board vide Notification No JKSSB- COEDEXAM(UT)/67/2023-03 (7271536) dated 12.10.2023, published the Result/ Score-sheet of the candidates, and
