Crime Branch Kashmir Files Chargesheet Against An Accused For Securing Government Job Via Forged, Fake Documents

Srinagar, July 15(GNS): Crime Branch Kashmir on Saturday said that its Economic Offences Wing, Srinagar produced chargsheet against person who allegedly has managed to secure government job on basis of forged and fake documents.

In handout to GNS, the CBK said that it chargesheet in a case FIR No. 64 of 2022 before the Hon’ble Court of Sub Judge Trehgam Kupwara against Qaisar-ud-Din Bajard, S/o Sai Mohammad Bajard, R/o Zirhama, Marhama, District Kupwara for his involvement in commission of offences punishable under Sections 420, 468 & 471 RPC of P/S Economic Offences Wing, Srinagar (Crime Branch Kashmir).

According to spokesman, Brief facts of the case are that Economic Offences Wing, Srinagar (Crime Branch Kashmir) had received a complaint alleging that one Qaisar-ud-Din Bajard, S/o Sai Mohammad Bajard, R/o Zirhama, Marhama, Kupwara had managed to secure a Government job as Jr. Lineman in Electric Maintenance Division Kupwara on the basis of fake and forged certificates/ documents. Accordingly, the instant case was registered in P/S EOW, Srinagar (Crime Branch Kashmir) in the year 2022 and investigation started.

During investigation it has been established that the accused Qaisar-ud-Din Bajard, S/o Sai Mohammad Bajard, R/o Zirhama, Marhama, District Kupwara availed all the benefits of a Government employee after having been appointed on the basis of fake and forged certificates of 8th Class. The aforesaid acts on part of the accused individual has established cheating, fraud and forgery (offences punishable u/Ss 420, 468 & 471 RPC), he said.

Investigation of the case was concluded as “proved” against said accused individual and Charge-report of the instant case has been produced before the Hon’ble Court for judicial determination, reads the statement.(GNS)

Srinagar, July 14(GNS): Police on Friday evening said that it have arrested a fraudster for duping students in disguise of MBBS admission Iran.

In a couple of tweets, The Srinagar police on its social media handle wrote, “A fraudster Syed Abas shah S/o Syed Yousuf Shah R/o wahabpora Budgam running educational consultancy ‘Dr Minds’ at parraypora in lieu of payment. FIR no. 65/2023 u/sections 468,420 of IPC in sadder PS,”.

“Students got to know of cheating & forgery after landing in Tehran & spending months there without any admission even after paying in lakhs to this Fraudster. Public is requested not to fall prey to such fraudsters running consultanties and duping students, job aspirants etc, reads the tweets.(GNS)

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR
1. From 13-07-2023, 1700 hrs. to 14-07-2023, 1700 hrs. there was slow movement on NH-44 due to breakdown of 09 HMVs and single stretch at Mehar, Cafeteria and Dalwas between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.

2. *HMVs Operators/Owners are requested to desist from overloading. It is further requested that vehicle owners must double check the fitness of their vehicles before undertaking journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW.*

3. HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

*TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 15-07-2023:-*
Subject to fair weather and better road conditions SANJY Convoy /LMVs Passenger/Private Cars shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa.

Yatris/Tourists may refer to *Revised Advisory No. 03 dated 03-07-2023*

*CUT OFF TIMINGS FOR LMVs/PASSENGER/PRIVATE CARs (other than Yatris/Tourists): -*
To be released from Nagrota (Jammu) from 0600 hrs. to 1200 hrs.
from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs &
from Qazigund 1130 hrs to 1400 hrs.
TCU Jammu and TCU Srinagar will inform all concerned about the traffic advisory and cut off timings. No vehicle shall be allowed to move before and after cut off timings.

*HMVs/Load Carriers:-*
Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, HMVs shall be allowed from NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) towards Jammu after assessing the road and traffic situation on NH-44 and *no HMV will be allowed after 1900 hrs.* TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs.
*Moreover, in view of forth coming Shri Amarnath Ji yatra 2023 and hassle free movement of trucks on NH-44 administration has decided all tankers of Pol, Diesel, LPG bulk gas, all empty LPG Cylinders carrying trucks; all empty vehicles of FCI; any other vehicle having upto 10-tyres shall adopt Mughal Road.*

*SFs Convoy Movement:-*
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of possible traffic congestion because of narrow carriage way between Nashree and Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and ongoing SANJY 2023. *Tomorrow they may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW from TCU Ramban. They shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs* .

*SSG ROAD*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road shall be allowed from both sides viz Srinagar towards Kargil and vice-versa. LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar at 0730 hrs. to 1100 hrs. Similarly, LMVs followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil at 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timings.
*SFs Convoy, plying from Srinagar to Kargil, shall leave Srinagar at 0800 hrs. SFs Convoy plying from Drass to Srinagar shall plan their movement in such a manner so that Yatra convoys (both UP and DOWN) don’t get disturbed.*

*Mughal Road:-*
Subject to fair weather and good road condition, vehicular movement on Mughal road shall be allowed from both sides viz. Poonch towards Shopian and vice versa. These vehicles shall be allowed from Behramgalla (Buffliaz) and Herpora (Shopian) at 0600 hrs. upto 1800 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after cut of timings

Teacher arrested for chopping hair of student in Pulwama

A government school teacher here has been arrested for allegedly chopping the hair of a seven-year-old girl student, news agency PTI reported quoting an official.

Abdul Rashid Kumar, who works at the Government Primary School, Tengpuna, has also been suspended by the school after the incident happened on Thursday, Pulwama Chief Education Officer Abdul Qayoom said. He said the administration took immediate notice of the incident and has acted upon it.

“We confirmed the incident and have suspended the teacher. Police have also arrested him. We do not want such people in our department. If there are any, they will get punished,” the official said.

Qayoom said the teacher should not have cut the student’s hair and if needed, he could be terminated.

“It is not the school’s job to cut the hair of a student without permission of the student or the family. The teacher has committed a mistake and action will be taken. If there is a need, we will recommend him for termination,” Qayoom added.

While the child did not wish to speak about the incident, her parents have slammed the high handedness of the teacher.

Police have registered an FIR against the teacher under IPC sections 342 (wrongful confinement) and 354 (outraging woman’s modesty) and Section 75 (any person abuses, assaults a child he/she is in charge of) of the Juvenile Justice Act. PTI

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR ADMISSION TEST -2023 (EXTENSION NOTICE)

The last date for submission of online application forms for admission to the following programmes of this University advertised vide Notice No: CUKmr/EEW/Admissions/2023/CUKAT/5063 Dated: 09-06-2023 is hereby extended up to July 25, 2023. However, other terms and conditions shall remain the same as reproduced.

GENERAL GUIDELINES: –

1. Admission to the above programmes shall be made on the basis of CUKAT-2023 to be conducted by the Central University of Kashmir.

2. Eligible candidates shall have to apply ONLINE through the website www.cukashmir.ac.in or through the direct link https://cukashmiradm.samarth.edu.in/.

3. OFFLINE applications shall not be accepted.

4. Candidates who are appearing in the final examination of the
qualifying degree are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates must have passed the examination by or
before the declaration of CUKAT-2023 results. All the candidates are required to produce the original marks
sheets/degree certificates at the time of counselling, failing which their candidature shall not be considered for
admissions.

5. The selection of candidates shall be strictly based on the merit scored in the Entrance
Examination/ and GD/PI, wherever applicable. 6. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD candidates shall be as per Govt. of India (GOI) norms only. Please note SC category means Schedule Caste only and not the Social Caste. Further, RBA doesn’t fall in the OBC category. The selected candidates are required to submit an OBC category certificate in the format prescribed by the Govt. of India (GOI).

7. The candidates selected for Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security and Cyber Forensics shall have to study 2nd
semester at the Rashtriya Rakhsha University (RRU), Gujarat that will make them eligible for a twin degree of
both these Universities.
