Eligibility Criteria of Helpers/ Aayas:

5. Candidate shall submit the affadavit from 1st class Magistrate at the time of joining for not claiming for permanent absorption at any stage.
6. Minimum qualification of candidate should be 8th pass from any recognized institute.
7. Age of Candidate must be between 18-37 years as on 1st January 2023.
8. Preference shall be given to the candidates from BPL Category in the below mentioned order of Priority:
a) Widow b) Divorced
c) Orphan d) Female belonging to BPL Category and older in age than the rest of BPL candidates.
9. Honorarium will be given Rs 5000/= per month which may vary as per the approval in the subsequent year in PAB of Samagra Shiksha.
Job Chart of a Helper/Aaya:
The Helpers/ Aayas for pre-primary sections of Govt. Schools have to perform below mentioned tasks.
1) Escorting the children at their arrival, departure, between activities (For example while moving to outdoor areas, Playground and Toilet etc.)
2) Maintaining the hygiene of the children such as Toileting, hand washing, cleanliness of children etc.
3) Helping the teacher in preparing class for activities.
4) Assisting the children in taking food under the supervision of teacher.
5) Any other assignment given by HOI for the proper care of children.

Srinagar, July 4, KNT: IAS qualifier Waseem Ahmed Bhat who hails from Dooru Shahabad area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and who ranked 7th in the UPSC examination interacted with civil service aspirants at Ignited Minds Institute here in Parraypora locality of Srinagar uptown.
Scores of civil service aspirants were present who keenly listened to the Waseem Ahmed Bhat.
Sharing his personal experiences, Bhat urged civil services aspirants to be clear about why they want to pursue a career in civil services.

MeT Predicts ‘Cooler Day’ Today, Rains Till July 8 In J&K
Srinagar, July 4 (GNS): Weather department here has predicted a cooler day on Tuesday with possibility of rain at scattered places during next 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Generally cloudy weather with light to moderate rain at scattered places is expected in Jammu & Kashmir. Today will be a cooler day,” a meteorological department official here told GNS.
He said on July 5, there is possibility of intermittent light to moderate rain and thunderstorm at many places in J&K.
From July 6-8, he said, intermittent light to moderate rain was expected at many places of J&K. “Some places in plains of Jammu region may receive moderate to heavy spells during morning hours,” he added.
Regarding the minimum temperature today, he said, Srinagar recorded a low of 17.8°C against 19.0°C on the previous night and it was 0.7°C above normal for the summer capital.
Qazigund, he said, recorded a low of 17.8°C against 17.0°C on the previous night and it was 2.3°C above normal for the gateway town of the Kashmir Valley.
Pahalgam, he said, recorded a low of 10.3°C against 11.5°C on the previous night and it was below normal by 0.5°C for the famous tourist resort in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Kupwara town, he said, the mercury settled at 16.0°C against 16.7°C on the previous night and it was above normal by 0.5°C for the north Kashmir area.
Kokernag recorded a low of 15.2°C against 16.7°C on the previous night and it was 0.3°C above normal for the place, the officials said.
Gulmarg recorded a low of 11.8°C against 13.4°C on previous night and it was 0.9°C above normal for the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, he said.
Jammu recorded a low of 26.7°C against 28.1°C on the previous night and it was 1.1°C above normal for J&K’s winter capital, he said.
